Curriculum Vitae

Denise Demirel received her diploma in Computer Science in 2010 from the Technische Universität Darmstadt. She worked as a doctoral researcher from 2010 to 2013 on the Project VerKonWa - Verfassungskonforme Umsetzung von elektronischen Wahlen (Constitutional Compliant Electronic Voting) which is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. In December 2013 she received her doctorate  from the Technische Universität Darmstadt. Her thesis with the title "Universally Verifi able Poll-Site Voting Schemes Providing Everlasting Privacy" focuses on cryptographic aspects, verifiability and (everlasting) privacy of electronic voting schemes. Since December 2013 she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of everlasting confidentiality, long-term integrity and authenticity, verifiable computing, cloud computing and long-term secure archiving. She supervises and coordinates the research on “long-term security” within the projects PRISMACLOUD and CROSSING - Long-Term Secure Archiving.
