Hi,

I've just checked in my recent changes.  This was a `jumbo checkin' for I
modified *every* source (with few exceptions):

I introduced name spaces (namespace LiDIA).  However, some things now
doesn't compile (this is not due to the namespaces, they just triggered the
compiler to complain on some questionable C++ constructs).  So in order to
build LiDIA, configure without names paces (./configure
--disable-namespaces, you must explicitely say this, for the default is
--enable-namspaces).  Hopefully, LiDIA will build with namespaces soon.
