Description

-c string
The user commands are read from string.

-d
If standard error is redirected to a file or pipe, all error messages are put to standard output and to standard error. This is the default.

-h
Display a help message.

-l file
Starts lc and logs user commands in the file file. You can restart lc from a logfile by typing

lc logfile -

This reads logfile and gives a prompt for further input. ATTENTION: Do not use the same logfile as input and output!

-n
Put error messages to standard error only.

-q
Quiet. Don't display the startup message.

-s
If the -s flag is present, or if no arguments remain after option processing, then commands are read from the standard input. This option allows the positional parameters to be set when invoking lc in interactive mode.

-V
Display the version number of lc.
