  Get off at Darmstadt Central Station ("Hauptbahnhof").
  To take a taxi from the Central Station to "Hochschulstraße 10" costs about EUR 7.

  • bus "K" (direction "TU-Lichtwiese") or
  • tram number "3" (direction "Lichtenbergschule") or
  • tram number "5" (direction "Darmstadt-Kranichstein")
  Buy tickets for local transport at a vending machine at the bus or tram stop. First press the button "DA-Mitte" and then "Einzelfahrschein". A ticket costs about EUR 1,35. Get off at the stop "Willy-Brandt-Platz", the ride takes about 7 minutes. After leaving bus or tram you will need to head East and look for a barbershop. Proceed down the small street next to the shop. At the end of the street you will see a sandstone gate. Go through the gate and then straight through the park. You will see the "Robert-Piloty"-building in front of you. .

  The airport closest to Darmstadt is airport Frankfurt/Main. From the airport, take the bus "Airliner" (not 300). The bus goes directly to Darmstadt. It leaves just in front of Terminal 1 from platform #14 (about every 30 minutes). The tickets are sold by the driver and cost about EUR 6,85. The bus takes about 20 minutes to reach Darmstadt. Get off at the last stop - Central Station ("Hauptbahnhof"). Please follow now the instructions "By Train".
